Privacy Policy
1. Introduction
WeekBoard (“the app”, “we”) is a desktop weekly timetable widget for Windows. This policy explains what data is processed when you use the app, including Google Calendar sign-in and optional AI features.
By using the app you agree to this policy. If you disagree, do not use features that require personal data (such as Google sign-in).
2. Data we process
Depending on features you use, the app may process:
- Schedule/task content you create on the board (title, times, description, category, etc.) — stored locally on your device.
- Google OAuth tokens (access/refresh) and account email when you sign in to Google Calendar — stored locally.
- Google Calendar events synced (read and, if granted, write) within about the next 30 days.
- Gemini API key and AI Chat messages if you paste a key and use AI — stored/sent per your configuration to Google AI (Gemini).
- UI settings (theme, font, language, period slots, etc.) — stored locally.
- Minimal technical runtime data on your device to run the window and system tray.
3. Storage & processing location
Board data, settings, and OAuth tokens are stored on your device (local app storage). We do not operate a WeekBoard server that collects your calendar by default.
When you sign in with Google or call Gemini, related data is sent to Google’s services under Google’s terms. See Google Privacy Policy.
4. Google Calendar & OAuth
If you choose “Sign in with Google”, the app requests OAuth scopes needed to sync your calendar (for example calendar.events and basic email profile).
Those permissions are used only to: show/sync events with the weekly board; create or update events matching board tasks within the documented sync window. We do not sell your calendar data.
You may revoke access anytime in your Google Account security settings (Third-party access) and/or sign out in WeekBoard Settings.
5. Optional AI (Gemini)
AI Chat works only if you supply your own Gemini API key. The key and chat content are used to generate suggestions/tasks; we do not use your key for other purposes.
Sending content to Gemini is subject to Google AI / Google Cloud terms and policies.
6. Data sharing
We do not sell your personal data. Data is shared only with providers you actively connect (Google for OAuth/Calendar/Gemini) or when required by law.
7. Security
Tokens and settings live on your device. Protect your device, avoid sharing backups that may include tokens, and sign out of Google on shared machines.
No system is perfectly secure; you use the app with the reasonable risks of desktop software.
8. Children
The app is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect children’s data.
9. Changes
We may update this policy. The “Updated” date at the top will change. Continued use after an update means you accept the new version where allowed by law.

WeekBoard (“ứng dụng”, “chúng tôi”) là ứng dụng desktop quản lý thời khóa biểu / lịch tuần trên Windows. Chính sách này giải thích dữ liệu nào được xử lý khi bạn dùng ứng dụng, bao gồm đăng nhập Google Calendar và tính năng AI (nếu bạn bật).
Bằng việc sử dụng ứng dụng, bạn đồng ý với chính sách này. Nếu không đồng ý, vui lòng không dùng các tính năng yêu cầu dữ liệu cá nhân (ví dụ đăng nhập Google).
2. Dữ liệu chúng tôi xử lý
Tùy tính năng bạn dùng, ứng dụng có thể xử lý:
- Nội dung lịch / công việc bạn tạo trên bảng — lưu cục bộ trên máy bạn.
- Token OAuth Google và email tài khoản khi đăng nhập Google Calendar — lưu cục bộ.
- Sự kiện Google Calendar đồng bộ (đọc/ghi nếu được cấp quyền) trong khoảng 30 ngày tới.
- API key Gemini và tin nhắn AI Chat nếu bạn cấu hình — gửi tới Google AI theo key của bạn.
- Cài đặt giao diện (theme, font, ca học, v.v.) — lưu cục bộ.
- Thông tin kỹ thuật tối thiểu để chạy cửa sổ / khay hệ thống.
3. Lưu trữ & nơi xử lý
Dữ liệu bảng việc, cài đặt và token OAuth nằm trên thiết bị của bạn. Chúng tôi không vận hành máy chủ WeekBoard để thu thập lịch của bạn theo mặc định.
Khi đăng nhập Google hoặc gọi Gemini, dữ liệu liên quan được gửi tới dịch vụ của Google. Xem Chính sách quyền riêng tư của Google.
4. Google Calendar & OAuth
Nếu bạn chọn “Đăng nhập bằng Google”, ứng dụng yêu cầu quyền OAuth cần thiết để đồng bộ lịch (ví dụ calendar.events và email cơ bản).
Quyền đó chỉ dùng để: hiển thị / đồng bộ sự kiện với bảng tuần; tạo hoặc cập nhật sự kiện tương ứng việc trên app trong phạm vi đã mô tả. Chúng tôi không bán dữ liệu lịch của bạn.
Bạn có thể thu hồi quyền bất cứ lúc nào trong bảo mật tài khoản Google và/hoặc đăng xuất trong Cài đặt WeekBoard.
5. AI (Gemini) — tùy chọn
AI Chat chỉ hoạt động nếu bạn tự cung cấp API key Gemini. Key và nội dung hội thoại dùng để tạo gợi ý / công việc.
6. Chia sẻ dữ liệu
Chúng tôi không bán dữ liệu cá nhân. Dữ liệu chỉ chia sẻ với nhà cung cấp bạn chủ động kết nối (Google) hoặc khi pháp luật yêu cầu.
7. Bảo mật
Token và cài đặt nằm trên máy bạn. Hãy bảo vệ thiết bị và đăng xuất khi dùng máy dùng chung.
8. Trẻ em
Ứng dụng không hướng tới trẻ em dưới 13 tuổi (hoặc độ tuổi tối thiểu theo luật địa phương).
9. Thay đổi chính sách
Chúng tôi có thể cập nhật chính sách này. Ngày “Cập nhật” sẽ thay đổi khi có bản mới.
